Zapped!

I electrocuted myself yesterday. Just a bit, as I was pulling out a plug. I wasn't hurt, but it did make my fingers feel numb for a few hours. That incident, however, in no way impacted my ability to do the Tongginator's hair yesterday.

Because I figure a little zap just added that extra something to her hair style. And - since it was Wacky Hair Day at school - that was probably a good thing.

So what do y'all think? When Dory saw the Tongginator at the bus stop, she said, "it looks like Chinese New Year exploded on her head."

Man her hair looks so thick! My poor little mouse has such thin hair and could never pull this off! LOL!

I think it's "bootiful" as her cousin used to say. I especially like the 4th of July effect.

I am jealous of her thick hair.

I love it!

GREAT hair TM!!!! I have to admit that I too zapped myself once - quite badly, grabbing hold of a naked wire in a light socket. Threw me off the ladder, but it did get rid of the heart palpitations I had suffered from for many years!!!

Knowing a bit about you history with hair - you did a GREAT job!! Love the Chinese New Year explosion!!

Zapping yourself? numb fingers and no voice makes a hard day huh?

Hugs,
Carla

I, for one, was just relieved to see that it was for Wacky Hair day!!! I totally agree with Dory!!!!

I like it. Very similar to MJ's wacky hair day hair-do, except mine doesn't have enough hair to braid. (My junior Tongginator does not follow the "Tonngu girls have lots of hair" trend.) The braids are a nice touch.

Well - first thought is 'she has a big bunch of hair!!' Next one was 'are you sure you zapped your fingers and not your head?'...but then I found the Wacky Hair Day line....OK then....;)

hugs - aus and co.

Love the Wacky Hair! Though I'm not showing it to Josie, she will want it for Every Day Hair! ;-)

Zapped! Oh I know the feeling! My arm was numb all day and then I felt tingling in my arm for three days! I am now VERY cautious around electricity.

Love the hair. My granddaughter wants her hair like this every day. She also dresses pretty funny as well. Too funny about the Chinese New Year Explosion.

Love it! How much earlier did you have to get up to get that hairstyle put together? It's awesome.

LOL! I actually love how creative it turned out! Just imagine how great that would look though if she was wearing a princess dress with it though. ;)

HA! That's adorable!

She's got a lot of hair! Maybe I should have shocked myself with more caffeine before the pathetic attempt I made for crazy hair day.

LOOOOOVE it!!! I agree with Dory, it DOES look like Chinese New Year exploded.

Ahhhh! Electricity. I spent a whole semester of PT school learning about how to use it in a therapeutic way. I had the meanest little monster of an instructor who would come over, crank up the intensity while cackling, "You WILL take the current!!!" I'm so glad it had no lingering effects, and that I'm not bitter about the experience. Much.

Love the hair. I have no negative memories resurfacing from that, but I DO wish I had that much hair. You did a great job, TM! I'd give it an A+ for Wacky Hair.

I CANNOT let Kiara see this photo because she will want this 'do EXACTLY!!! And I just can't run the risk of getting electrocuted again...sigh...yes, it happened many, many years ago & involved the transformer from "Creepy Crawlers"...remember that? "Pour plastic goop right in the mold, then trade 'em, sell 'em, they're Creepy Crawlers, Creepy Crawlers, by M@ttel"...sorry, got carried away there!

Patricia/NYC said...

Ugh! I got so carried away I forgot to write:

I LOVE THIS HAIRDO!!! It came out GREAT!!!

Her hair looks great! Wow, I wish I had hair like that! So thick and shiny!

She looks Great!

My DD's hair could not even make ONE of those braids,if it were all in one spot. She's only 6 months younger than your DD. T, you have GREAT hair.

Love the wacky hair-do! I think I will try something like that next year, when Kerri's hair is a bit longer.
Glad you were not hurt with the zap!

Nicole said...

That. Is. Awesome. Downside to having two boys with short hair: crazy hair day.

LOVE the HAIR!

I think you may have gotten the ZAP I was supposed to. I plugged my flat iron in yesterday - then I picked it up to move it and it felt heavy...and dripping. I QUICKLY unplugged it. Miss Amelia had thrown a MAJOR HISSY Tuesday morning and spilled water all over the counter (I was downstairs cooling off - I mean letting her cool off). The straightner had been sitting in the puddle for over 24-hours.
Of course I was running late to a major customer event - and had no straightner! It would have been worse to miss it because I'd been electrocuted - might not look good working for the electric company and all:)

We have several of those very same hair bows! I have a bit of an addiction to the gymboree curly pony tail holders! It's the only thing I can afford from there!

So wonderful! And another reminder that I missed "wacky" day at my child's school as well as ran late for the "dress-up day" parade, and forgot to bring snacks during the mouse exhibition.

Maybe I can braid all 120 hairs on Sue's head into some similar concoction next year...

I can always dream...
