From T to Zee

So yesterday, after school, the Tongginator came to me with An Announcement.

TONGGINATOR: Momma, I have something serious to tell you. I did something bad in school today.

TONGGU MOMMA: (thinking it couldn't be all THAT bad, seeing as how I had just talked with Ms. Confetti, who said nothing about the day's events) Oh, really? What did you do, honey bear?

TONGGINATOR: Momma, I know we are supposed to save our kisses for our mommies and daddies, but I accidentally kissed Zee.

TONGGU MOMMA: Accidentally? You accidentally kissed him?

TONGGINATOR: Yes, Momma.

TONGGU MOMMA: Tongginator, how do you accidentally kiss someone?

TONGGINATOR: Well, I just really, really wanted to kiss him, so then I did.

TONGGU MOMMA: Oh, really? And how did Zee feel about that?

TONGGINATOR: I don't know, Momma. I didn't ask him. But he didn't complain or anything.

And - just so y'all know - I didn't tell Tonggu Daddy about the Tongginator's Announcement. I'm sure I'll receive a telephone call in five... four... three... yep, there it is. Tonggu Daddy must be reading the blog right this very second. But in the Tongginator's defense, Zee is Quite The Adorable One (isn't he cuteness personified in that photo? just pretend you can see his face). And obviously he has excellent taste.

Since he didn't complain or anything.

And I can only hope the Tongginator didn't use tongue Tonggu.

Oh my, it's starting early at the Tonggu House. At least she's being honest with you, right? I love how she said it was an accident. And yes, HE does have good taste!

When my oldest was 5, she told me her favorite thing to do at school was to Chase Boys MOM!

I'm sure that TD is going to be cleaning a shot gun when her very first date comes to pick her up! I know that Big T says he will. So funny how protective he (they) are over his girl - the boys - well, lets just say that when we found our oldest sneaking out of his bedroom window he didn't get in much trouble....grrr....

And Zee probably didn't complain because he was to busy running to the bathroom to wash it off!

Hugs,
Carla

Oh boy. I kissed a boy in kindergarten too - on his cheek, no tonggu. It'll be ok. Didn't kiss another boy until 7th grade.

Having met Zee, I'll just say that she has good taste.

OK - my tie was 'wonky' enough after reading the Gang's Momma and Dawn's post - now yours? Ya'll owe me a tie cleaning bill OK? (Does coffee stain?)

The Tonggu Dad - following up on the earlier comment - Remington model 870 - because sometimes looking scary is as important as being scary! ;)

hugs - and thanks!

Ah the spontaneous just because first kiss. We had that this summer when LeighAnna's Sunday school friend was visiting with his family. And my girl also has good taste but I've requested she put her lips to rest until she's 30. It seemed like a nice round number.

OK, you just about made my coffee shoot out of my nose!!!! Hahahahaha!! That is too funny!! Just wait! I have been told it can get quite scary when the girls reach the dreaded teens!!! I am sooooooo glad my girls have 3 VERY big brothers!!!! LOL!!

Miss T has very good taste indeed. Oh, I guess I shouldn't say that in case she did use her Tonggu. :)

Oh sounds like T and Amelia have more in common every day! I just heard her singing along to a song that went "I fell in love in Spring..." When I heard her sing, "I fell in love with Simon in the Winter!" Oh goodness! This has been going on since before Halloween!

Oh and it could be worse, the boy I liked in Kindergarten - well I thought he was cool because he ate rocks...

As usual you had me giggling!
I need to hide this post from Lucy's dad...he has already been plotting how to make a one-seater car, and how to clean his (pretend) gun correctly in front of potential suiters for his daughters'. If he knew things progressed this quickly, Lucy would already be a nun! LOL!

Oh my! You are such a good story relater (cause in this case it appears that Togginator was telling the story)! I was giggling and realizing that I'm gonna be telling stories like this soon. Kylie came home from pre-school Thursday telling me how she and Cameron played Mommy and Daddy...

Oh, that's good, TM, really good! I love your puns. And I love how T says it was "accidentally." Cracks me up how kids see things. My kids are always saying "It was an accident! I didn't mean to push her off the bed and then jump on her and laugh in her face" etc.

Ha ha. I like a girl who goes after what she wants! Heh.
That's a great story. Is Tonggu Daddy out looking at shotguns this very minute?
Happy Holidays.

You are so bad. So. bad.

I was good all the way through, just snickering and giggling at the confidence of li'l miss T. Till that last line.

Full out guffaw.

And for the record, YOU can pay Aus's dry cleaning bill. I posted a warning out of courtesy for my readers. This definitely should have carried a warning.
