Hello, Mrs. Confetti

This morning we will officially meet the Tongginator's kindergarten teacher, Ms. Confetti, during the first of the year conferences. The Tongginator is bringing along a little gift.

"So she won't forget me before school starts, Momma."

Somehow, I don't think that's possible, Tongginator. *snicker* And there are only three more days to go... *sob*

Looks just like her!

And thanks everyone for the ego boosting comments yesterday. My head hardly fits through the doorway anymore.

Only 3 days to go?!? Wow, you all start early! Our first day of K is Sept. 9th & then it's only for an hour. First full day is the 14th...sigh...

Thanks for the SPD info. My oldest sees an OT weekly and I see many of the SPD symptoms in her behavior.

Soooo cute. I love their enthusiasm for the first day. Even tho my LadyBug is "an old pro" as a fifth grader, she just confessed to me how excited she is to start again. I know it will wear off after a week of early alarm clocks and morning rush, but I savor the little girl enthusiasm for now . . .

Well, ACTUALLY, I think the picture DOES look like the Tongginator! She did a really good job. Unless it's supposed to be the teacher? But no, those are little miss T's beautiful smile and lovely ponytails!

Good luck on the first day of kindergarten, young lady!! You're gonna do great, somehow I just know it!!

Terrific self portrait!! Something tells me the teacher would remember her even if she had not left such a lovely reminder:)

Good luck on her first day.....I am sure the excitement is running high!!

Oh, good luck. I am not a crier, but when my first when to Kindergarten...I bawled, for 5 seconds until my younger son squealed with delight, "That was SOOOO COOL," as he watched the bus pull away and cracked me up. I hope you have something to make you laugh when you drop her off :)

That is so adorable! I teach high school. so I never get to see any fun artwork like this... unless you count the penises drawn on the cafeteria walls or the protrait of the principal in bathroom stall number 2. Thanks for sharing ;-).

I don't know, as demure and shy as the Tonginator is.... just like my Reese Cup! Yes, that is what we really call her, not for blogging purposes! LOL
