Blog Business

Just to let y'all know...

There is a major Back-to-School Giveaway going on right now over at the group adoption blog Grown in My Heart. The Tongginator is of course coveting the Little Mismatched Backpack. Other items up for grabs include an HP Photosmart a630 printer, a Nintendo DS game, books, games and more.

My weekly links are up at the No Hands But Ours site (click on "blog"). If you enjoy my Sunday links and are interested in China's special needs adoption program, check out Whatever Wednesday.

My blogging buddies Stefanie and Amie of Wild Olive Tees are also hosting a give-away (that ends today) of two childrens t-shirts for both boys and girls, sizes ranging from 2 to 12. Now your children, too, can get their verse on. Also, through August 31st, 25% of their profits (instead of their standard 10%) from the sale of the CHOSEN t-shirt will go to benefit a charity near and dear to my heart, Love without Boundaries.

Also, for a bit of a laugh... the Tongginator already - this week - decided on her Halloween costume for this year. Y'all, she selected, out of entire magazine devoted to gorgeous Halloween costumes... she chose Medusa. Yes, the green lady with the snakes on her head. Here's hoping she changes her mind...

There's something mysterious about Medusa. I think that is one unique costume pick. I hope to see it in October.

Heh. Medusa. Heh.

Maybe she's hoping to use her turn-you-to-stone-stare to score more candy? LOL (Does she KNOW they're snakes up there?)

At least she has made up her mind on a costume! My crew keep changing their minds. This has been going on since November 1, 2008!

I love the Medusa costume idea. She's a girl after my own heart! Every year we throw a HUGE Halloween party. This year, we're using it as a fund raiser for Pearl River Outreach. I can't wait to get my adoptive mommies and their kiddos together again in costumes.

OMG!! You're kidding! I'm telling you the Tongginator and Darling Daughter were meant to be soul mates or something. Her Daddy calls her Medusa when she wakes up in the morning....very curly hair + wild sleeper = snakes in her head!! Too funny!

Love it! I wish MM would pick something cool. But no. She has to be a pumpkin. Picked out since last halloween. I guess I'd better find a pattern since she reminds me daily. Still.

I love your kid!! Of course, I was not ever allowed to choose my own costume but I begged and begged to be the Bride of Frankenstein complete with "mouth blood" from 1st-5th grade and then gave up. She will have so much fun as Medusa!!
