Yep - she took lessons from me!! you go girl!

on a side note - ahhh....green grass that is nice and thick! Down south we have centipede in our yard - short and stubby! I miss grass!! Little T took off her shoes last weekend while in NY and ran around like a maniac in it.

Hugs,
Carla

Snort. I'm laughing out loud! I am really glad you told us she was cartwheeling cause I'm not sure I would have figured that out on my own.

I thought that was how you did a cartwheel - at least that's how I did them. Too cute!

Are they still called "monkey jumps"? It was a source of pride for all little girls who could say "I can do a cartwheel!" while the rest of our shuffled our toes and said "Well, I can do a monkey jump...but I ALMOST did one yesterday!" Regardless, she's right cute!

Funny how it started out so great............

She's got the first part down perfectly and had fun with the rest. Could not have been cuter!

Are you sure she isn't break dancing? :-)

She's off to a great start! I tried all my chidhood and never got much better than where she is right now! The slide thing is way cool!

Sadly, that's how I did a cartwheel for my entire childhood.

I'm with happygeek on this one. :-)

I count that...yes ma'am I do. Mainly because if I even tried to do one now I'd pull something, or break something. Not to mention my own cartwheels never looked better than hers in the first place!

way too cute though!

Awesome! That whole getting the legs up in the air thing is hard. She's adorable!

I pulled a muscle last time I attempted one, and 5'11" worth of arms and legs flying every which way really isn't pretty anyway. :)

Having trouble with the "slide" show. But quite amused by the extremely slow and delayed version that I saw.

That was great! Kudos to the gymnast *and* to the photographer!

At least she kicked off her high heels before "cartwheeling".

Cute! My dd has learned many ways to do a cartwheel but not this one -- maybe the Tongginator can show her! :-)

I've never come close to doing a cartwheel, so I give it at "10"!

Darling and daring little girl! Some of my fondest memories as a child was doing gymnastics and then going to Swenson's afterwards with my Mom for sundaes. They had those great little wafers too. Thanks for sharing, and bringing back such precious memories. Go cartwheels! Hugs, Peach

Adorable! My 13yr old JUST go the hang of doing one last year. The Tongginator is way a head of her. LOL

Hey, what's wrong with that cartwheel? That's the way I've always done them. (Not that I've actually attempted one in the past, oh, 15-20 years.)

Super cute, cartwheel or otherwise. :) By the way, not sure if the photos were taken in front of your house or somewhere else, but I dig the landscaping.
