Backyard Princess

As I've mentioned before... the Tongginator doesn't allow princess dresses to slow her down - not when she's mucking around in mud puddles, not when she's prancing through Target, not when she's climbing like a monkey. Case in point:

Nope, nothing slows down my little Tongginator. She is the epitome of grace and decorum, ESPECIALLY when she's wearing one of her princess dresses. Yes. Ahem.

It takes talent to fall UP a hill, doesn't it?

And for more pint-sized klutzes fashionistas, check out the Friday Fashion Challenge at Do They Have Salsa In China? (Also, for all y'all concerned about my little Tongginator - she was up and okay. Then she worked on her gliding.)

Yep, takes talent to do that...unfortunately I have that same talent! Quick story - boys were young, I was putting L to bed and messing with my hubby at the same time. I got on L's bed and did a little dance for hubby's amusement. (L's room is kitty corner to ours). Anyway - I jumped down, tripped and slammed my check against the door. Would be okay except it was the skinny part of the door, you know, the part you can't see when it's closed? I ended up cracking my cheek bone! And to add to the amusement, the next day was our anniversary so he sent me roses to my job, the same job I had just gotten a week before. So..here I am going home for the day with a dozen roses and a HUGE black eye, standing in the elevator with people I don't know...ahem...yeah...

Hugs,
Carla

I understand all about 'perpetual motion'!...with or without costumes.
We have also decorated the house with glitter this week as R is super sick. Glitter - the chicken soup for 3 year olds.
Have a good weekend.

Huh, I'm not sure the T would like to see any of these pics at her wedding slide show. :)

Hey, it's Snow White climbing up(or attempting to) the slide. We have Batman here riding his big wheel...why do they want to wear those costumes when it's 85 degrees out?!

LOL! Hey, I thought of you yesterday. I was at WalMart (NOT my favorite place to be) and noticed this adorable little girl (who looked a lot like Miss T)heading into the store as I was making my way out. She was "dressed" head-to-toe: tiara, princess dress, and pink glittered pumps. I smiled at her and her mama who muttered, "It's her favorite outfit. She's had it on for at least a week." To which I replied, "Yes, but she looks better than most of the teens in the store at the moment!"

If I didn't know where you live, I might have asked, "Are you T and T Momma?"

Blessings!

LOL! I love what a tomboy she is. Sarah is just like her, although she NEVER wore princess dresses. Those were for girls. Oh, wait, she IS a girl. Sometimes I forget. ;-)

Oh my gosh, are these photos FUNNY!!! I am sitting here just cracking up!!

Now, looking over at Miss K, & realize she is wearing a red, white & blue dress as a skirt, with a totally clashing light blue tye-dye shirt...wait a minute, is that a different drummer I hear?? ;)

It is amazing how princesses can get around in gowns and high-heels! I would be falling all over myself it were me in the garb. Nope, give me a pair of flip-flops or Sanuks any day! When I should my girls the photos of Miss T, they asked if the photos were of them because it looks like their "everyday.":)

Ha!!! Falling up a hill is totally something I would do (small sigh...). Of course, I wouldn't look as classy since I wasn't wearing an awesome princess dress. You can pull anything off in a princess dress, can't you?

Amelia is ALWAYS falling down, her teacher even made a comment about it at her conference. I would be concerned, but it's how she runs that causes it...head forward leaning down - how do you teach a kid to stand up straight when she runs?
Now I have to say the costume is GORGEOUS! I lived with my sister when my niece was little - the neighbors commented when she finally started wearing clothes that they thought she only had "princess" dresses as they only saw her in those - or naked:)

My girls want to do all of that outdoor fun, but with NO princess dresses. Consider yourself lucky. I WANT a princess. : ) Your princess can do it all and still be beautiful!

Yes, my B is also a wonderful combo of "athletic adventurer" combined with some "girly girlness" just for fun. Makes for some amazingly cute photos, huh? ;)

Oh, she is just too funny! What more can you ask for than an athletic Princess? : )

You gotta be used to running around in those dresses. How else can you jump on the back of that white horse when your prince shows up?

hehehe! Good thing she's so darn gorgeous, she can pull anything off?!!! (even an "ungracious" fall uphill!!)

That princess dress doesn't slow her down one bit, does it? LOL! And falling up a hill does take talent - just ask Briana. ;)
