Smell Tell

TONGGINATOR: Momma, we need a hamper in the guest room; otherwise, where will Mrs. R put her dirty clothes? Because dirty clothes can smell sometimes.

TONGGU MOMMA: Wow, you are right, Tongginator. The guest room doesn't have a hamper. We'll have to get one and put it in there this week.

TONGGINATOR: Good. Cuz Mrs. R needs one.

TONGGU MOMMA: You know, that was very thoughtful of you. You were very kind to think of that.

TONGGINATOR: I love you, Momma.

TONGGU MOMMA: I love you, too, butterfly.

TONGGINATOR: I'm gonna smell my feet now.

TONGGU MOMMA: Uhh... okay.

TONGGINATOR: (contorting her body to take a big whiff) Eww... yucky!

Y'all, the Tongginator may have a heart of gold, but her feet still stink, just like the rest of us.

BIG LOLs here! Why...why do kids do the things they do?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I don't even know what to say to that. The same thing happened to me the other day? Only, without the caring for others' comfort and well being. *sigh*

The nose knows.

I'd keep her nose plenty busy around here with a diaper champ and three cats. That diaper champ can be one stinky devil and it only has pee....I'd have to jettison that thing out to the cosmos if my kid pooped in her diapers.

That is too funny! My five year old has this thing about feet too. Except she smells ours to see if they are smelly or not (especially her daddy's). She used to say, "I want to see if your feet are okay for playing." LOL

hehe!! My 3 year old smells her feet all of the time. What's worse--she will smell all of ours too. NASTY!!

When I last visited, The Butterfly, while eating her oreo and ice cream said "I'm going to smell my stinky feet". Then she asked me to smell my feet. I declined. When we were going into the house she said "my stinky-feet mom is in here".

Now I'm concerned. Does the Tongginator think that TG has stinky feet?

Humor just runs in the family!! I hope all is well at your house and brotherly love abounds. :)

Well of COURSE. The natural thing to do after a touching conversation like that is to smell your feet. Of course. :-)

I'm still laughing at "i'm gonna smell my feet now"....

but hey. i'm lucky. my feet really DON'T smell.

That's too funny. Ina has a thing for smelling breath. After you eat something, she wants to "smell your breath." Kinda weird.

Well, I'd be really worried if her feet actually smelled like flowers! ;)

Hahahaahahaa! Yes, I've had the 'uhh...okay' moments too.... There's really no other response possible at those times, eh? =)

I kinda wish I could spend a day in her head! What fun that would be.

That's priceless! And you know, as funny as that is, don't most adults have random, crazy thoughts like that every now and then, but we know not to share them? Or is that just me? Maybe that is why I love the way your daughter thinks.

Bahahahahahah! That's awesome! I can't wait until she tells that visitor all about her stinky clothes! Golden!

Every night the last thing we do is wash Grace's feet. My grandmother always said, "Never go to bed with dirty feet." :)
