Solitary Confinement
Being sick these past two weeks really expanded my knowledge of the world. I learned all about dirty jobs that No Sane Person would ever agree to perform. I expanded my knowledge of dog whispering, despite the fact that we don't own a dog. I also discovered enough about criminal intent that I believe I could successfully prosecute most criminals.
I'm not a district attorney, but Iplay one on my blog watch Law and Order.
And... shh... I learned how to cheat at computer Solitaire. Did y'all know that you can hit Ctrl+z to take back your previous move? Because you totally can. Although it doesn't work with the computer game Hearts, which is truly a shame.
Not that I do this or anything (cough cough). Because that would be cheating. But if I DID do it, it would work for me. What works for you?

oh! and i love dirty jobs! (the show. not the actual jobs.) although i think my favorite is man vs. wild. but i haven't seen it in a-g-e-s.
i feel your pain. we're on the mend from a house full of yucky sickness, and i cannot wait til the light at the end of the tunnel is a reality! and i totally love cesar milan. my dh makes mucho fun of me for this. he thinks the whole idea of dog psychology is HOGWASH.
hmm, had no idea on the solitaire. and that IS a shame about hearts. i love that game (or is it I heart hearts?).
btw i had a random conversation w/ a friend about your daughter's lovely room. is that totally weird? lol (in my defense, she has two girls who are just beginning to bunk together and i was lamenting ever getting to decorate with GIRLY schemes)
I spent far too many, ahem I mean totally useful hours downloading one hour trial games from Big Al Games and then playing them all one right after the other. hehehe Oh wait, I do this even when NOT sick. Sad, I'm just sad. ha!

oooh ctrl z works on mahjong, spider solitaire, AND free cell as well. ;)
I'm totally convinced the computer cheats at hearts, so it's totally okay to cheat at those others games.
I haven't played computer solitaire in ages... but I do remember ctrl-Z!

I love Law and Order too. The original, not the spin-offs. They just give me the creeps.
Law & Order scares me - yeah, I'm a TV wimp. But I could watch HGTV or Food Network 24/7 -- never actually do any of the projects or cook any of the food, but watch the shows! OY! Feel better!

Cheating at solitaire, how funny you are. Oh you are a wild girl. I watch the same shows (when I can) then I question my fed. husband, and of course he say's "that wouldn't happen in real life" than I say, but's TV and they only have an 1hr here. Then he utters something, which I ignore LOL.

For me, it's House Hunters on HGTV. I never tire of that show for some reason. I usually try and let the buyer know my opinion on which house to buy. When hubby hears me yelling "Pick 3!" at the TV he knows exactly what I'm watching.
Wheel of Fortune was one of my favorites. But then everyone in the house banned me from shouting out the answers. I can't help it that they are too slow!

I liked watching the dog whisperer when I am sick, and like you, we dont have a dog!
Sometimes I wish I could control + z an entire day...
I have a dog with floppy ears who needs a little whispering. Daytime TV is the Great Teacher of our society.

I love the control Z function! Have you tried the M button?? Tells you a good move! For more solitary confinement games...play spider solitaire with 4 suits, you'll be pulling your hair out in no time!

Oh my, this whole thing is so funny. And I know that I DON'T want to be sick like you, but I would like to just watch these shows in a room by myself without being sick. :)
