Fast Food Mandarin

If you are a China-adoptive family (or family-to-be), you may wish to stop in at Chic-Fil-A and purchase a kid's meal this week. Chic-Fil-A offers environmentally friendly and educational "toys" in all of their children's meals, instead of the usual junk found at most fast food places.

This week the "toy" is an audio CD by Living Language that teaches some introductory Mandarin phrases. The CD is valuable for both children and adults. During the next three weeks, other language CDs will be available, including Italian, Russian and Spanish.

We don't have any Chic-Fil-A's in Maine. Nowhere in Maine. Very sad. :(

Weren't you never going back there again because of an embarrassing experience? (Ladybug Drama post)!

:) We went to a different one. But we'll probably head to the one in our town soon enough. Time makes most things funny, you know. NOW that story is funny... it didn't feel funny while it happened. LOL.

I love Chik Fil A for this very reason. They have such awesome toys in their kids meals rather than junk that gets thrown away.
