Her Father's Daughter

So ... the Tongginator enjoys "reading" a maza-geen now and again, especially in our reading room. She's done this pretty much from the first moment we met her. Her reading tastes appear quite eclectic to others ... she enjoys flipping through Lifelines on a regular basis, and also Parents, which we receive free each month due to the generosity of my neighbor Rosie. Her daddy hands her Roundel quite often, mostly because we possess so many copies of the darn thing. At Canuck K's house, the Tongginator often asks for the newest edition of Canadian Living. But this ... this beats all. Today the Tongginator reached into the maza-geen basket, by herself, and selected a new favorite to take to the reading room. I saw the cover and thought, photo op!

OK, THAT is hilarious! You've got to save that picture...and make a birthday card for her when she's...oh, about 35. ;-) Hilarious!

How old was the Tongginator when she came to live with you?

She was just days from her first birthday. She actually turned one after our Adoption Day, but while we were still in China.

I am proud of little Tongginator ... I will be even more so when she's reading ... not because she has too, because she enjoys it ... Linux World or Scientific American.
